I'm Ilaria, a dedicated Sicilian teacher with roots in the picturesque city of Modica, Ragusa. My journey as an educator is fueled by a deep commitment to teaching the Sicilian language and culture as there are those who do not believe it is a real one.

Knowing typical words or expressions is not enough. Interacting with others also requires pronouncing words correctly. In this course, we will focus a lot on helping you perfect your pronunciation.

This beginner-friendly course is designed for whoever wants to learn the fascinating Sicilian language.

The beginner's course is designed for those who are starting from scratch, which is why it starts from the absolute basics. It is also suitable for people who already know some Sicilian and want to improve their fluency or pronunciation.Â
COURSE STRUCTURE
The course is divided into 7 modules, for a total of more than 9 hours of content, containing more than 80 videos with lessons and exercises. I recommend watching the sessions in order, as the course offer a sequential and logical learning path.
Remember that you can always go back and watch the lessons as often as needed.
All videos are in FULL HD and you can adjust the speed, audio and quality.
In all my videos, I try to use as many visual elements as possible, such as pictures, tables, and graphs. At the same time, you can also see me talking directly to you, making the lessons as engaging and entertaining as possible.
During the course, you will also find many exercises and PDFs, which will allow you to practice at the end of each lesson!
